Spring 2016 FULL Box Review
Fabfitfun is a seasonal subscription box that boasts a box value of $225+ for the price of $49.99. What I love about Fabfitfun is that it is a lifestyle box rather than one that includes only beauty products or food products. This was a complete Surprise Impulse Buy! I did not plan on buying this box. I saw spoilers and wanted to see how much the box would be so I went to the site, put the box in my shopping cart filled out everything to see how much shipping+handling would be, closed the webpage and forgot about it. Few days later I received an email to look at my shopping cart to finish the transaction and I did as was told and finished the transaction. Can't say I don't follow orders. There goes my goal of trying to save some $$$ but once in awhile one should treat themselves, right?

Herb Garden by MakersKit $35 US/ $45.47 CAD
Okay, I am so excited for this. I have always wanted to grow my own herbs in the kitchen since herbs cost so much in the grocery store and end up rotting in my fridge rather than actually ending up in my food. The kit includes everything you need to grow mint, thyme and basil minus the water. I am waiting for the sun to make more of a daily appearance but I will update once I plant these babies!
Contour Kit by ISH $32 US/$41.57 CAD
I am hoping this kit will help me to learn how to contour. This kit looks so pretty I almost don't want to touch it but the fact that ISH stands for I'm Smoking Hot has me thinking otherwise. I was going to give this away as a gift to one of my make-up guru friends but it's too nice for me not to attempt a contour-look hopefully with the help of some Youtube videos. Thankfully, ISH creator Joey Maalouf has a Daytime and a Nighttime video of how to get the most out of the kit! You can watch the day time tutorial here: ISH Contour Kit Light/Medium: Day Look
Bath Bomb Trinity by Jus D'Amour $28US/$36.37 CAD
This I am sadly not going to get to use only because I do not have a bathtub to use these cute, perfectly packaged special balls! They smell so good and each bath bomb is themed for a specific mood: romancing, calming and energizing. (I almost want to keep these for myself for when I travel)
Keratin Gloves & Socks by Bodipure Inc., $9.98US/$12.96CAD
Spa sesh alert! These little miracles moisturize smell so good and albeit are a little weird to have on- do not plan on doing anything while you have these on except for sitting in one spot...seriously. Your hands and feet will be so nice and soft after, there is some residue that you'll either have to rub in or wash off (rub it in cause the rest of your skin will be jealous of your hands and feet).
Tag Necklace by Jook & Nona $65US - say what? / $84.44 CAD - holy #$%@
This is an absolute steal, steal, steal. It is such a beautiful necklace and what pushed me into thinking about buying the box in the first place. Unfortunately, the chain was too short and ended up being right at the base of my neck which is unflattering for me but I know many ladies that will love this necklace!
Shaving Emulation Lotion by Hello Legs $19.95US/$25.92CAD
Since Spring is here, it only makes sense that we have something to help us start shaving our legs again. I usually do not use any shaving cream, relying on my Schick Intuition razor. The concept of putting something on before I shaved was foreign to me so giving this a try was interesting! On first sniff, it has a pleasant smell but it does have a after smell that's almost chemical. However, it is moisturizing and absorbs well into the skin for a smooth feel after shaving! I will use the whole bottle but probably won't purchase for myself.
Argan & Hemp Oil Therapy by Marrakesh $22.99US/$29.87CAD
This is the best thing in the box! I love this, I love this! I thought this would be like any other hair oil but this stuff smells good and a little of it goes a long well. It works exceptionally well to help my wet hair- which usually takes 3-4 hours to air dry- dry in under an hour! It helps keep my winter frizz down to a manageable do. I am trying not to use this everyday since on Amazon this product is $33.34+6.00 shipping but it' so hard not to!
Yoga Mat Strap by Merrithew $14.99US/$19.47CAD
I already have two yoga mats that came with their own straps/bags so this will go unused by me. It is nice that the strap also doubles as a resistance band but when you put it around your yoga mat it is rather bulky. I can't see myself actually using this product- mostly because I don't use resistance bands in my workout so this will have to go in the give/gift pile as well.
Not included in pictures:
- $30 to Sterling Forever, an online easy-to-wear jewelry pieces. Thankfully, they also have a $50 and under section for us that want to get the full use of our gift cards!
- $25 to Thirty One Bits, another jewelry company that features jewelry handmade by artisans in Uganda which allows them to make a living for themselves and rise out of poverty. The jewelry is so cute and there is so much choice in terms of accesories- statement pieces, simple pieces, everything! So we can all look fabulous for a great cause!
TL;DR: The box itself is $49.99, shipping to Canada costs another $8.00 for a grand total of $57.99 which is an amazing deal at all since the total value of the box was $282.91US/$367.51CAD! Oh my goodness! That is amazing value!
**Verdict for labit or leave it? Labit! TREAT YO'SELF. I did not end up liking or being able to use every single item in this box, the ones I did I loved. Even if you do not end up liking all of the products included in the box everything makes excellent gifts that most ladies will definitely use!
